Dear students in your practical year,
You have several different ways to spend part of your practical year ("Praktisches Jahr") at the NCT:
The Practical Year at the NCT
In the optional trimester "Interdisciplinary Oncology"
- Four months rotating between various outpatient and in-patient facilities within the NCT
- Option to spend time at the Department of Hematology (Prof. Dr. Müller-Tidow), Radiooncology (Prof. Dr. Dr. Debus), and the Thorax Clinic (Prof. Dr. Thomas).
In the compulsory trimester "Internal Medicine"
- Usually an 8-week assignment
In the elective subjects of "Immunology" and "Hematology"
- You also have the option of completing part of your elective subjects "Immunology" and "Hematology" at the NCT.
