Well-informed during therapy
Whoever begins chemotherapy at the NCT Heidelberg, is in need of information. As well as extensive instruction at the outset therapy, some patients wish to have additional written information.
In order to better support patients at the beginning of their cancer therapy, two employees from the caretaking team, together with the guidance and assistance of physicians and counseling services, have created a patient handbook.
The handbook contains information about possible side effects and guidance on life during cancer therapy. Beyond that, the brochure offers helpful tips on the patients’ stay at the NCT Heidelberg, as well as important phone numbers and contact information.
If you have any questions which go beyond the information contained in the NCT Heidelberg patient handbook, please consult your physician, the nurses at the NCT Heidelberg day clinic, or the Cancer Information Service (KID).
