The Committee of Parental Institutions of the NCT Heidelberg consists of six voting members. The German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and Heidelberg University Hospital (UKHD) are each represented by two members of their management boards; Heidelberg University is represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; and the Heidelberg Thoraxklinik is represented by its Managing Director. The Members of the Managing Directorate of the NCT Heidelberg participate in the meetings of the Committee of Parental Institutions as guests.

The Committee of Parental Institutions coordinates strategic decisions for the NCT Heidelberg and jointly steers the further development of the site.
