The Committee of Parental Institutions of the NCT Heidelberg consists of six voting members. The German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) is represented by its management board, the Heidelberg University Hospital (UKHD) by its medical and administrative directors, the Heidelberg University by the dean of the Heidelberg Medical Faculty, and the Thoraxklinik Heidelberg by the managing director.

The Committee of Parental Institutions of the NCT Heidelberg supervises the Managing Directorate of the NCT Heidelberg and defines important strategic, staff-related and financial matters of the cooperation as well as the direction of the NCT Heidelberg. The Members of Managing Directorate of NCT Heidelberg participate in the meetings of the Committee of Parental Institutions Heidelberg.
