Dr. Zschäbitz completed her specialist training in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology at the NCT Heidelberg and heads the section “Translational Urooncology”. Her clinical work focuses on urooncology, geriatric oncology, transition consultation, and clinical trials. In addition, she is currently studying Medical Education (MME) in a part-time degree program. Her master’s thesis is entitled “Promoting communication competence in the context of medical training - Development and implementation of mentoring using the example of urological oncology”.

Prof. Dr. med. David Bonekamp is a senior physician in the Department of Radiology at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ). His scientific interests include artificial intelligence and radiomics in uro-oncological diagnostics. Since founding the elective track, he has offered courses that give medical students an insight into how clinical practice and science can be combined.
