KID online event on March 7: How the Integration Office can support cancer patients

"Staying in work - how the Integration Office can support cancer patients" on March 7, 2024 from 4 to 6 p.m. Event organized by the Cancer Information Service (KID) for cancer patients and anyone interested in the topic.

For many cancer patients, the institution of the Integration Office, also known as the Inclusion Office, is a "closed book". However, the office is an important resource for cancer patients in many ways. For example, anyone who is worried about the consequences of a long-term reduction in performance after an illness or has questions about workplace adjustments due to health problems caused by cancer is in good hands at the Integration Office. People with cancer can also get help with other issues such as reintegration, reduced working hours and aids.

In this presentation, Nadine Bellemann will provide answers to these important and complex questions. She works at the Integration Office in Karlsruhe and will provide many practical examples from her daily work. Carmen Flecks, a lawyer from the Cancer Information Service, will talk about severe disabilities.
