HSO² Fellowship Program for Young Researchers: Apply now!

The fellowship program of the NCT Heidelberg School of Oncology (HSO²) is aimed at young doctors and scientists who are interested in a career in patient-oriented cancer research. During the fellowship, the participants conduct research in departments and working groups of the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) or the Heidelberg University Hospital (UKHD). The current call for proposals focuses on digital oncology/big data and clinical trials.

Scientists receive a grant for two years. Clinically working physicians can be given up to 100 percent of their working time for their research and receive grants for materials. In addition, two mentors support the HSO2 fellows.

Requirement
Scientists and physicians with a license to practice medicine or a doctorate in a relevant field or with equivalent academic achievements can apply. Candidates should be at an early stage in their careers: medical professionals before the end of their residency („Facharztausbildung“); Scientists up to five years after their doctorate.
