Make the most of music therapy with our online group programme for patients
A cancer diagnosis often turns the lives of those affected "upside down". Suddenly you find yourself in a life situation that is characterised by great uncertainty and insecurity.
Resources are extremely important in such a situation, and music is a valuable resource for many people. Music can be stirring and has an immediate effect on emotions.
The music therapy group programme is all about listening to music together and discovering what music means to you. We'll explore how music can be a calming or uplifting force in your life.
The following topics are at the centre of the music therapy online group:
- Music as a resource
- Getting to know your own musical biography
- Dealing with fears, worries and other stressful feelings
- Self-care
- Relaxation and mindfulness through music
