Participants wanted: Exercise after cancer
Exercise has proven to be a safe and effective strategy to counteract the side and after-effects of cancer and its treatment. A study is now investigating people's attitudes to exercise after cancer treatment in order to improve the range of activities on offer. They are looking for participants who have recently completed cancer treatment and are thinking about becoming (more) active in sport. Anyone who is interested is invited to take part in one of the focus groups. One of the following topics will be discussed in small groups in a structured, moderated discussion:
- What is your opinion on online sports programs? (conducted on site in Heidelberg)
- What is your experience with information on sport from healthcare professionals? (conducted online)
If you are interested in participating, you can find further information and a contact form here.
You can also contact the study group by e-mail or by telephone on +49 6221- 42 2201.
The focus groups on online-guided exercise programs for people after cancer treatment are part of the Preferable-II EU project. More information can be found here.
