Founding a skin cancer self-help group - who would like to be involved?

The National Centre for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Heidelberg is looking for patients who would like to set up a self-help group for skin cancer. Anne-Kathrin Müller, the self-help representative at the NCT Heidelberg, is supporting them in this endeavour in cooperation with the Heidelberg self-help office. The foundation of the self-help group is an initiative of the Dermatooncology Department at the NCT Heidelberg.

The self-help group is intended to provide a valuable platform for sharing experiences, supporting each other and overcoming the challenges associated with skin cancer together. It helps those affected to cope better with the experience of the disease and to accept their individual situation. In addition, coping well with the disease improves the quality of life during and after the illness.

If you are interested, please contact Anne-Kathrin Müller, self-help representative at the NCT Heidelberg.
