The Pancreatic Cancer Center received its initial certification in July 2026 in accordance with the criteria of the German Cancer Society (DKG). The Pancreatic Cancer Center is headed by Prof. Martin Loos, MD, and Prof. Christoph Springfeld, MD, PhD, and coordinated by PD Thomas Hank, MD.
The development of individual and customized diagnostic and therapeutic concepts is carried out on an interdisciplinary basis by the following UKHD clinics: Visceral Surgery, Oncology, Gastroenterology, Radiotherapy, Pathology and Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology.
