Time out for families with parents with cancer
When a parent has cancer, it means a great emotional and organizational challenge for the entire family. The ANKER counseling service (for children of parents with cancer) offers affected families a special opportunity to relax and exchange ideas: a time out together to leave everyday life behind, recharge their batteries and experience valuable moments together.
The time out on May 9 and 10, 2025 in Lobbach is designed with numerous activities for adults and children. These include, among other things:
- Sports: swimming pool, archery, air hockey and other activities.
- Relaxation: saunas, relaxation room and outdoor area with pond, chicken coop and lots of greenery
- Creative workshops: joint handicrafts, painting and creative design.
- Exchange of experiences: opportunities to talk to others in a similar situation and to gain new ideas for everyday life.
In addition to program items for the whole family, there are also special offers for different age groups. The aim is to create shared experiences that give families strength and joy.
The offer is made possible by the "Spenden gegen Krebs" (Donations against Cancer) program, which the NCT Heidelberg uses to support selected research projects.

Costs and registration
