World Cancer Day 2026: Interviews on new approaches in cancer medicine
On February 4, World Cancer Day, the focus is on advances and challenges in cancer research and treatment. Two new audio reports address key issues in modern oncology. The two interviews with experts from the NCT Heidelberg shed light on different perspectives on diagnosis, therapy, and research:
Dirk Jäger, Managing Director at NCT Heidelberg and Head of the Department of Medical Oncology at Heidelberg University Hospital (UKHD), will be featured on the program “Der Tag” on HR2 on February 4 at 6 p.m. The conversation will shed light on new cancer therapies, how diagnostics and treatment have changed in recent years, and the role that research, prevention, personalized medicine, and clinical trials play in this context.
