Excellence in Sample Management
The Heidelberg Cell and Liquid Biobank (CLB) is a central research infrastructure for translational and clinical research at the Heidelberg Medical Campus. It supports scientific projects through the standardized processing, quality-assured storage, and provision of liquid human samples and mononuclear cells. With state-of-the-art automated sample management and storage systems, the CLB lays the foundation for high-quality biomarker research, the investigation of disease mechanisms, and the development of personalized therapies.
The CLB’s laboratory and storage facilities are located at the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) in Heidelberg and provide researchers with access to a high-performance infrastructure for the long-term preservation and utilization of valuable patient samples.
