Cancer Information Service launched WhatsApp channel

The Cancer Information Service has started a WhatsApp channel on World Cancer Day, February 4. The channel will share short, clear, and reliable information about cancer directly on smartphones.

Short and clear information for everyone

The channel is for people who are affected by cancer, their families and friends, and anyone who is interested. The messages are easy to read and include:

News and updates from cancer research,
clear and neutral explanations of current studies and news,
practical information for everyday life, and
Information about the services of the Cancer Information Service.

An addition to existing services

The WhatsApp channel adds to the existing services of the Cancer Information Service and makes trustworthy cancer information even easier to access.
