KID online event on October 12: Physical activity - opportunities and risks

"Physical activity for cancer - opportunities and risks" on October 12, 2023, from 4 to 6 p.m. For cancer patients and anyone interested.

For many people with cancer, it is essential that they also do something for themselves. Physical activity can play an important role in this. Experts agree that cancer patients benefit from being physically active in many situations of illness. Studies show that people who exercise appropriately are less likely to be exhausted, may perform better, and remain more mobile. But what does appropriate mean, and how exactly does physical activity and exercise work in cancer? What effects can be achieved, and are there situations where it is better not to exercise? During the event, you will receive answers to these and other questions as well as many tips for everyday life - for example, on the topic of motivation. In addition, the experts will provide you with addresses and contact points for becoming and staying active.
