KID online event on February 26: “Human papillomavirus (HPV) – Everything you always wanted to know.”

HPV is one of the most common sexually transmitted infections worldwide, and almost everyone comes into contact with the virus at some point in their lives—yet there are still many unanswered questions, uncertainties, and misconceptions. Does it only affect women? Does a condom provide complete protection? Does HPV always cause cancer?

As part of the Cancer Information Service (KID) event, we will clarify these and other questions and provide information about risks and protection options – in a clear, factual, and scientifically sound manner. Your questions on the topic are also very welcome! The aim is to educate, inform, and reduce uncertainty.

The online event is aimed at anyone interested in the topic.
