KID online event on December 14: Living with metastases

"Living with metastases" on December 14, 2023 from 4 to 6 pm. For cancer patients and anyone interested in the topic.

As a result of medical advances, many cancer patients with metastases are living longer than before and with a better quality of life. What needs do cancer patients with metastases have? How do they deal with this special situation and what questions do they have? Stefanie Frenz from the Living with Metastases Network of Women's Self-Help Cancer provides answers by telling her medical history. Kristine Kranzhöfer and Eva Krieghoff-Henning, both from the Cancer Information Service of the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), will provide information on the development, diagnosis and treatment of metastatic cancer.
