Online Event on June 11: Cancer Immunotherapy – "Harnessing the Body’s Own Immune System" by the Krebsinformationsdienst (Cancer Information Service)

Immunotherapy is a modern form of cancer treatment that harnesses the body’s immune system. It specifically strengthens the body’s own immune cells so that they can recognize and destroy tumor cells. For some types of cancer, immunotherapy has now become an integral part of clinical practice, most often in advanced stages of the disease. During the event, the speakers will address the following questions, among others: What immunotherapeutic approaches are available, how do they work, and what side effects can be expected?

This free event, organized by the Krebsinformationsdienst (Cancer Information Service), is aimed at cancer patients, their family members and friends, as well as anyone else who is interested.
