KID online event on September 4: Vaccinations for cancer – safe and effective?

Cancer patients need good vaccination protection. They are particularly vulnerable to infections during and for some time after cancer treatment. Nevertheless, cancer patients sometimes have reservations about vaccinations. On the one hand, there is a fear that the vaccination will affect the cancer. On the other hand, there is concern that the vaccination may put too much strain on the immune system. How does a vaccination work, what vaccinations are available for cancer patients, and how can these concerns be assessed from a scientific perspective? These questions will be addressed at the upcoming online event hosted by the Cancer Information Service (KID). (The event will be held in German.)
