Our group/department has:

  • Developed statistical methods to improve the flexibility and efficiency of phase II designs for oncology trials (Englert and Kieser Biometrics 2012)
  • Applied non parametric methods to investigate methylation an gene expression data (Neumann et al. Hepatology 2012)
  • Performed a Cochrane Intervention Review to assess the effect of perioperative chemotherapy for gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma on survival, disease-free survival and other outcomes (Ronellenfitsch et al. European Journal of Cancer 2013)
  • Planed the statistical analysis of a phase I trial for the neoadjuvant therapy of soft tissue sarcoma with sunitinib and purcutant radioation therapy (Jacob et al. BMJ Open 2013)
  • Planed the statistical analysis of a phase II trial evaluating consolidation whole abdominal intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) in patients with advanced ovarian cancer stage FIGO III (Rochet et al. BMC Cancer 2011)
