Our SCIENCE@DKFZ series is back, but in a virtual format.
Challenges in Brain Tumor Immunotherapy
Prof. Dr. Michael Platten
Although the Corona-Virus still has a grip on the globe, scientists all around the world are doing their best to continue their important research. Everybody at the DKFZ is also striving to get the labs going again in order to continue our work to better understand cancer and find new and better ways to fight it.
As before, the event will consist of a lively mixture of recent highlight papers out of the DKFZ being presented in short and flash talks by their first authors and a Keynote lecture by a DKFZ senior PI. The event will be live-streamed, questions can be asked in the chat.
Michael Platten will give an overview and show exciting new results on “Challenges in Brain Tumor Immunotherapy”. As always, this will be framed by presentations of first authors of an exquisite collection of recently published papers spanning exciting new results from topics such as telomere maintenance and chromosome instability, early detection of cancer, and the role of viruses in the development of cancer.
Technical details and the full agenda will be distributed.
Please save the date for this event which will bring latest results of SCIENCE@DKFZ right into your home office or wherever you are to enjoy it!
