How to eliminate Colon Cancer – A Road Map

3rd International Symposium: “Innovations in Oncology”

26th – 27th June, 2017 | German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ)

Hosted by the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Heidelberg, the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), the University Hospital Heidelberg, the Felix Burda Foundation, the German Network against Colorectal Cancer and in cooperation with the German Cancer Society (DKG), the 3rd International Symposium “Innovations in Oncology” will bring together scientists and physicians from academics to industry and foster interdisciplinary communication and collaboration.

This year’s workshop aims at developing the first roadmap to eliminate colon cancer in Germany with chaired as well as interactive panel discussions along with a comprehensive range of scientific sessions. From discussing the impact of nutrition and lifestyle, gut microbiota, new models of risk prediction, early detection and prognosis to innovative approaches in therapy, this symposium will be the first to discuss the latest findings in all relevant areas of a colon cancer patient’s career. In addition, this symposium strongly intends transferring innovative scientific advances into a practical guideline called the “Heidelberg Roadmap”.

We are looking forward to welcoming you in the beautiful city of Heidelberg from 26th – 27th June 2017 in order to strengthen the alliances in cancer research and medicine.
