NCT has an interdisciplinary Tumor Outpatient Unit with a central system therapy unit (day clinic) attached to it.
The Tumor Outpatient Unit is the main contact point for cancer sufferers. Patients may arrange an appointment for a tumor consultation service if they wish to have suspicious symptoms clarified or if they are seeking a second or even third opinion. Every single case is discussed in an interdisciplinary setting among specialists including, if necessary, experts from research, patient care and counseling services so as to identify the best treatment options for patients and to provide comprehensive care in all matters relating to their disease.
Due to the close link between clinical practice and basic research, patients at NCT also have access to novel tumor treatment approaches by participating in clinical trials.
In addition to the regular consultation services we also offer various counseling services for our patients in the interdisciplinary Tumor Outpatient Unit.
