It is a modern oncology center modeled after Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the U.S.A. and Scandinavia and adjusted to the German heath care system. NCT’s key asset is its comprehensive interdisciplinary approach, which takes account of all aspects that are relevant in the fight against cancer.
Patients can obtain, in the shortest way possible, a diagnosis of cancer, a treatment plan provided in a timely manner as well as treatment according to the latest and most innovative standards, through to follow-up care and psychosocial care.
Furthermore, NCT’s task is to translate new findings of research as swiftly as possible into innovative methods for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of cancer and to offer these in clinical trials. Thus, patients benefit early from novel treatment approaches which are not yet available otherwise.
